INSTRUCTIONS FOR STATE OF KANSAS BID EVENTS

Effective 12/7/2020 the Office of Procurement and Contracts is only accepting bids via email and will not be accepting hand delivered or courier delivered bids.

All open State of Kansas bid events are listed below. Click on an event to see more information, including any related documents or special instructions. You must have Adobe Reader to view or print PDF files. To download the latest version of Adobe Reader, visit the Adobe Reader download website.

It is the bidding entity’s responsibility to download all documents related to the bid and any amendments, if applicable, and to provide current contact information to the State of Kansas Office of Procurement and Contracts to ensure receipt of bid event notifications.

All bids must be received prior to the closing date and time indicated in the bid event. It is the responsibility of suppliers to ensure their emailed bids are received on-time.

• To bid on an event, an organization must be officially invited.
• Notify the event contact at least 24 HOURS BEFORE the official end date and time to request an invitation.


• To be invited, an organization must be either of the following:
• A supplier who has already done business with the State of Kansas.
• A registered bidder if it has not done business with the State of Kansas. If bidder registration is needed and not completed in a timely fashion, the bid may be rejected in its entirety.


• To register, please select User Registration from the Kansas eSupplier Public Portal to begin the registration process.
• Current Suppliers should complete the “Register Supplier User Account” process to view payment information.
• New Bidders, who have never done business with the State of Kansas, should complete the “Register New Bidder” process.

NOTE: If your organization has already done business with the State of Kansas, such as providing products or services for payment, it is already a SUPPLIER and is therefore automatically eligible for the bidding process and should NOT complete the "Register New Bidder" process.
